What to expect at your lash appointment…

CAN I WEAR MAKEUP TO MY LASH APPOINTMENT?

It’s required that your eye area be clean and completely free of makeup. You can wear moisturizer but no under eye concealer, mascara, etc. Your lash artist will require you to remove any makeup around your eye area before the start of your appointment. Come Prepared with a clean face so your artist has the most time possible to spend on your lashes.

I CAN’T LEAVE MY HOUSE WITHOUT MASCARA, I REALLY CAN’T WEAR ANY?

Correct! Now, we know that you’re busy and so if you’re coming from work or running errands, please arrive to your appointment early to clean your lashes onsite so when your lash artist is ready to start your lashes, you’re ready to go!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO MY LASH APPOINTMENT?

Comfortable clothes! You’ll likely be sitting or laying down for between 1.5-3 hours depending on the length of your appointment. Feel free to bring a blanket to be extra cozy during your appointment!

HOW LONG ARE EYELASH EXTENSIONS APPOINTMENTS?

You’re very first lash appointment will be a full set of lashes (aka a fresh set) and will take around 2.5 to 3 hours to complete. If you have an appointment for a lash fill, this means that you have already had a full set of lash extensions put on. The length of these fill appointments depends on the type of lashes you have and the amount of extensions you have left on your eyes so that our lash artists have the adequate time to fill up your lash line. Fills can take between 1-2 hours.

SHOULD I BRING MY HEADPHONES?

Absolutely! If you’re planning to listen to music during your appointment, then you’ll need to provide your own headphones and music listening device. Have a few playlists lined up as you won’t be able to open your eyes during the appointment. We suggest more soothing music; your lash artist won’t want your head bobbing along…

WHAT HAPPENS IF I FALL ASLEEP? IS THAT OK?

Absolutely! Some lash artists prefer when their clients fall asleep. Don’t worry about falling asleep, your lash artist wants you to be as comfortable as possible during your appointment! Lash naps are the best naps! :)

SHOULD I WASH MY LASHES?

YES! Washing your lashes once per day with a lash-safe cleanser (hint: SoCal Squeaky Clean Cleanser) will not only extend the life of your lashes, but will keep them clean and looking fresh each day! It will also help prevent any irritations and bacteria. Washing your lashes directly before your appointments is so important! It will help both the health of your natural lashes and the retention of your extensions! Cleansing your lashes directly before a lash appointment also ensures that all makeup, excess oils, and debris have been removed so that the extension can adhere directly to your natural lash!

IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD KNOW ABOUT MY LASH LIFT AND TINT SERVICE?

Depending on whether or not your lashes are naturally curled or straight, the effectiveness of the lash lift may vary. For some clients, the perm solution does not fully lift your lashes during the first processing. If this occurs during your lift and tint service, we advise that you come back to the studio within the next 24-48 hours to receive a complimentary second processing that will finish lifting the lashes.

DO I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

We require a non-refundable deposit for any of our full sets of lash extensions. These are long appointments, so we require a prepaid deposit of 50% of the service to confirm your appointment. You will receive an invoice via email upon booking your full set appointment (these invoices have a tendency to be sent into the junk mailbox for some clients. If you do not receive your invoice within 24 hours of booking we kindly ask that you check your junk mailbox and if you still do not receive the invoice here, feel free to give us a call at the studio.)

WHAT IS YOUR POLICY ON CANCELLATIONS?

Our schedules are extremely busy, so we kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice of cancellation so that another client has the opportunity to book into that time slot. If you are unable to give 24 hours notice, you will be required to pay 50% of the cancelled service before booking another appointment. If you are cancelling a full set appointment that you have already paid the non-refundable deposit for, but plan on re-booking, your deposit may be applied to your new full set appointment.
